Description

Vanillas are a very favorite fruit of children and adults because they have a sweet juice and a very nice aroma. 

The vanilla is a variety of the genus Prunus domestica and belongs to the Rosaceae family. The Prunus, which today brings us some of the most delicious fruits, dates back to the earliest times with an age of at least 2000 years and are trees that thrive easily in a variety of soils and climates. 

They are juicy fruits with different shapes and sizes, have a sweet taste and excellent aroma. The vanillas are available for consumption from late spring, in particular from May. The Angelino variety is widespread with high productivity and ripens around September.

They are a good source of vitamins A and C, and contain potassium, calcium, iron, phosphorus and magnesium.

In general, scientific research shows that fruits belonging to the purple to dark red color spectrum are very rich in antioxidants and have anti-aging properties.
